Decisions, decisions...
Tex,
You know how to handle this! Cardboard cutout until fall! Every woman's dream!

Yeah...she would love that :-)

Maybe they'll sell me the prototype that was on display at Basel...

Tex,

Obviously I can't comment on your wife's taste. But..... Wait for the White Solo, wait for the White Solo, wait for the White Solo.......

I think it will be much more wearable...

Ceals

Ps apologies to anyone who has the salmon but its just not for me!!

I think you're right, Ceals. I'll just give her a cardboard cutout for now...until the white solo comes out.

Default Still wait for the Solo!

Hey Tex,

I think that's a wise move.

I've just seen this pic that Piers has posted on the Twitter Alt1tude forum and it confirms (for me) that you should definitely wait for the white dial Solo

It's the combo you were interested in...What do you think?

Not having seen it in person, it's still hard to say but based on this pic and a couple of others that have been posted, I think you're right. I do like the salmon, but it's a little dark (as far as I can tell) and based on the fact that my wife actually said, "Wow, that looks nice" when she saw the white solo (and has never commented on another watch before) I think the white solo is definitely the way to go.

Thanks for your input. It's nice to have a lady's perspective on these things (no offense to all of the guys here...).

Its a pleasure... Glad I'm useful for something

Tex, that photo was for you: Thanks Ceals for posting as I hadn't got round to it. Looks lovely in the flesh... kind of on par with the new solo 37s the cream strap really makes the watch stand out.

( try and ignore the 70% off sale sign behind, i'm pretty sure it wasn't in relation to the P-51 they still had in the window!)

Thanks, Piers. The pic helps a lot. It's hard to gauge colors on the toppers site.
