Default Well, now that i posted here...

... i also have to introduce myself

My name is Rene, i have been and still are into collecting watches.
Reason why i am a member here is the fact that i used to collect Lemania powered
Watches and that i am still interested in these.
So much, that even my collection theme has changed in so far that i do now collect
Vintage divers with a depthrating higher (or is it lower) 500m, i still had to buy
this heavily worn Omega Speedmaster 125 for 400AUD from the bay.

The 125 looks like it really was worn regulary but i tend to keep it that way, because most of the others you find look like never worn and without history.
According to the extract of record from Omega it was sold in Australia in 1973.
Interesting on this one is a engraved number in the back which i canīt find a info about.

So besides the Common Speedy with a Lemania based 861 movement and a Benthos Aquastar 500 which also exist as a Lemania branded watch, these are the only watches
left that remind me of the collection i had.

Just for amusement i would like to share some pictures of my former collection which some of you might have seen before others wonīt.

Enjoy

Hi Rene - I think I borrowed a pic of your 157 in this thread... http://forum.atgvintagewatches.com/s...ead.php?t=4346

Great collection, nice to see them altogether like that. Was there one or two you would have liked that you never got hold of?

Oh yes, thats one of my 157īs in fact i think i had 5 of them but always sold them very quickly, didnīt get warm with.

In fact there are 2 watches with Lemania 5100 Movement which iīd still like to own.
One is THE Omega Holy Grail the Speedmaster Ref 376.0822, but it really became pretty
expensive.
The second one would be the Sinn EZM 1, believe it or not i live in Frankfurt and
me stupid didnīt buy the Limited edition they sold about 2 years ago.
