Default Test shooting Camera with MB1.5 Free Gift offer!

So I am thinking of getting a new camera so have borrowed a Nikon D200 from Agent Orange to see how it does.... now as I am ex film school and obviously a post production expert your guys couldn't possibly match the quality anyway..(Yawn ).

Here are a few shots.... using a Nikon D200, set to Auto, using a 60mm macro lens, handheld (very technical) then crushed in photoshop lifting the 'contrast'... see only experts know this stuff... Lol! Look good though hey?

But if you can load a shot to this thread that is better then I will get everyone voting and the winner gets a free strap from me...

Your prize is a 'Blue' leather Bremont strap....from their first run........(gents these are expensive so if we don't get enough up take in the competition it will have to be 'next time' I'm afraid) so get your cameras out.... and let the other Bremont 'heads' on the Internet know too!

Great looking pics! I have a Nikon D5100, but need a good Macro lens. I think photography and watches were made for each other! That is a great looking MB 1.5! Cheers Jim PS You. Nikon guys any recommendations for a reasonable price macro lens?

You know me and contests...I will keep submitting pictures until I win...:-)

I'm also a Nikon guy (when I'm not on the road...too bulky for my trips) but mine is a few years old (D70S).

Pics to come...

Default Challenge accepted...

Alright Alistair, here ya go. I don't have a macro lens, so my details aren't quite as sharp as yours...but here's my best shot. These were taken just before putting her in the box to ship...which was, literally, just taken from my house before typing this sentence :-(

You'll see in the pics a US flag (flown over Afghanistan in January...also in the box heading to Bremont), and a yellow rose...which is, of course, the yellow rose of Texas :-) Nice touch that today is the 17th, eh?

As for specs, this is taken with my Nikon D70S, 28-80 lens, no flash, fstop 5.3, 1/4 second exposure at 70mm. Not professional, but my best attempt.

Default How about a bit of lo-fi iPhone action?

Pumped the contrast on this one. Almost makes up for the pretty rubbish camera on the iPhone 3GS...
