Default Horsemen Cometh

Just watched a wonderful documentary on the Horsemen, the U.S. 3-ship P-51 acro. team. It aired this evening on the local public television channel. A good part was shot at Duxford. Here is a link to what I could find on YouTube that at least showed the Duxford segment. The documentary was very moving. Great stuff!!

Enjoy!

Default One caveat

I'm not sure who owns that Channel on YouTube, and it's sometimes difficult to know who owns the copyright on these things - e.g. was it ripped from the TV, or a DVD, etc., so please consider buying the whole thing on DVD / Bluray!

You know it makes sense

Good to see "Max" Moga on this clip. We were F-15C instructors together from 2000-2002. Great guy who went on to be the F-22 demo pilot. I believe he is a squadron commander in Alaska now. He must be doing this on the side. What a life! Anyone know where I can pick up an inexpensive P-51 and a lifetime supply of fuel?

Just got word from POF that the Horseman will be flying/performing at the Chino Airshow this year, minus Moga but with the addition of... wait for it... a P-38! Should be very cool.

Default Superb news...

Saw a P-38 at Duxford last summer - a beautiful shiny Red Bull - which put on a fantastic display...
