Bremont S2 ATG SPECIAL

WOW! Al, love that design! The ATG logo is understated but complements the watch. Love the DLC case. Can't wait to hear more about this limited edition follow up to the MB1.5! Bravo!

Very cool LE! I have always liked the black and green combo, and with a touch of red with the ATG logo puts the iceing on the cake! Well done, Cheers Jim

Thumbs up ATG Highlights

Some great highlights there, great pictures as well.Pity you had to let the Wakmann go Al
The gettogethers sound a lot of fun, pity they are so far away. The bremont looks very interesting. Many thanks to Al and the great members of the forum for the photos and info throughout the year.

Merry Christmas Al! Very stunning piece and great you have another collaboration with Bremont. You were one of the first fans and promoters, so fitting they continue to work closely with you. Look forward to hearing more!

Thanks for the 2011 overview (especially useful for latercomers like myself). So many cool watches!

On the subject of the '12 ATG model, I would've preferred a black dial. That was my feeling with regular S2 line as well. But I'm sure it will still sell out regardless

Great round up of the year Alistair, awesome pics as always, the P51 at the Panoramic in Liverpool is my favourite.

Really wish I'd bought the Wakmann off you.... The S2 looks cool, if it had a silver dial I'd definitely be keen!

Happy New Year

Ceals

Excellent news on the S2 ATG Special - I've always thought that the black/green S2 is the real sleeper of the Bremont range, yet it captures the aviation inspiration of the watches more than any other (perhaps apart from the EP 120 and P-51). It's certainly an aviation connoisseur's choice.

That black dial with green numbers and yellow accents looks just like an old aircraft instrument dial - add the black case and it will look like it has been unscrewed from the instrument panel of just about anything old and interesting, from a Spitfire or Lancaster to a Hunter or Vulcan.

I see this ATG special edition as a sort of "companion" watch to the EP 120 - I expect that many of us with EPs will enjoy wearing this ATG S2 on a daily basis, bearing in mind that an EP recently changed hands for five figure sum. No doubt anyone who missed out on an EP will want to grab this LE S2.

It will look great on the brown vintage leather strap. Here's a shot of my EP on that strap, taken in the Sea Fury cockpit...

Presumably the ATG S2 will have a black crown too?

Regards

Jon'.

Default Completely agree with Jon'...

...the ATG BC-S2 Special would be an excellent partner watch to the P-51 as well.

Take a look at the Fragile but Agile cockpit below - especially the airspeed indicator - and tell me that the Special is not a perfect match?
