Default What a shame, poor example of a lovely watch

Just been watching this on Ebay

Ending in an hour or two.

This would be about my perfect vintage Lemania.

This case is the same as adapted for the Chronostop diver, and the Omega soccer chrono, a 120m rated chronograph that predates the Omega Big Blue by some 3 years or so.

The case is incredibly comfrtable, and the internal bezel is a real bonus (for me - I love them).

But this one, item 290512014569 is a poor one. massively over-polished case, wrong hands etc etc. I shan't be bidding.

This one however,

Also on the Bay at present, is nigh on perfect.

Shame he wants more than €2500 for it!!!

Jeepers creepers, that's a bit steep, an extremely nice watch though, very crisp.

I suppose its all part of the 'fun and games' involved in collecting pieces such as these.

The second example, despite being well over the odds, is beautiful...

I've just had a chance to look at the other pictures - what a beauty that is - the case is immaculate, the inner bezel doesn't swamp the watch, the cross-hatched bezel crown, the clarity of the dial - an absolute cracker...out of reach I'm afraid, but very nice indeed.
