Default Zenith 146 Diver - UberCool # Cool or UnCool

I thought we might start up the cool wall again.....feel free to post your own polls but let's keep it to a few a week.... find a shot of a watch you really like and if it hasn't been looked over before by the faithful we'll give it a go......

This is mine.... Zenith 146 Diver Early 60's

Quite clearly ubercool

Very, very nice that Alistair. How about a few details, like the case size, movement type (and anything special about it) and availability?

Classic proportions, recalling the earlier tri-com chronos of Universal Geneve. Understated, single-starred Zenith logo on blacker than black dial. 1/5 of a second track detailing lifts it to another level. Hands that point purposefully but without being overly heavy-handed (sorry). Bezel with alternating lolipop numerals.

My vote? Uber (but you knew that already).

Is this really a poll? I'm not sure how this could be rated anything but Uber! But then again I am extremely bias.

BTW - I'm glad the "Cool Wall" is back again.

Clearly near to absolute zero this one, and no mistake.

One thing not mentioned yet which is a point of extreme lovelines is the ladder bracelet. I wish someone still made these, it is about the coolest bracelet out there.

Dave

Oh, and the applied star on the dial is beautiful too
