A few EBay items that may be of interest, some running, some completed. Usual drill - these are items of interest, I do not offer approval on quality of seller or listing.
Item 350369549673 A nice blue-dialled example, on for a little too much money at present Item 110552492725 Early Lemania 3-register ![]() Much better than the US$800 price it fetched, I wish I had followed it more closely Item 150460080644 Asymmetric cased single pusher HS9 chrono with the wrong crown Not many asymmetrics coming up these days, and their desirability is reflected in the ~£950 closing price, despite the fault Item 130403031959 Some issues (see missing constant seconds hand), but sold for only £132 Item 370398004399 Interesting Bullhead Lemania with blue dial (never seen one before myself) ![]() I am not totaly convinced. Dial looks good. But those look like tissot hands and the movement bridge was marked Tissot as well. A possible put-together, that went for US$910, possibly destined to be a donor for an Omega Bullhead put-together. Cheers Dave

A possible put-together, that went for US$910, possibly : destined to be a donor for an Omega Bullhead put-together. I almost bid on that bullhead Lemania, but then I learned on another forum that the seller is known for selling pieced-together watches. Apparently he lives in Turkey and has a Swiss wife. Something seemed a bit shady about this watch (like the Tissot-style hands Dave noted) so I deferred. The price it reached is, in my opinion, twice as much as it should be worth. The worst thing of all is that I know of no other Lemania bullhead watches with which to compare it. I have no idea if Lemania ever made something like it! |

Well, they did, but I cannot prove it just now as I do not archive shots of this type of watch.
![]() However, A quick search reveals this ![]() Courtesy of chronomania user Jef33 It has more credible hands, but white on white in the constant seconds sub-dial looks a bit strange (though I like it as the cs is often used only for checking that the watch is running). And a twin to the one in question, but with Rotary on the dial, previously for sale by Sportmichael. ![]() Once again, a Tissot movement makes me think there is more than one origin to this example...... I have aslo seen similar Bucherers and Rodanias. I guess the question is whether it is worth faking a Lemania dial in this unique configuration, whether it adds sufficient value to be worth the effort, I suspect these are a stock of NOS parts that are being assembled, rather than anything more sinister. Just my own view of course. Dave
