Hardness helps against light scratches but it will not prevent dings.
Titanium watches actually ding pretty well too. |

My Alt1-C I have had for 3 years.. you can put a loope on it and there are 'no' scratches at all however I have dropped it and whacked in very hard a number of times which has put the odd ding in it.... I doubt any watch would go up K2 without being dinged...
I don't quite get the Titanium analogy... titanium is soft and having owned lots of Ti watches they ding easier than anything... you must have either been lucky not to whack it... |

Are the date wheels custom on Bremont?
I think they might be on my Supermarine but I wasn't sure. |

I think they may be because of the Font... most of the components on Bremont watches are custom...

Does the Supermarine and Martin Baker share the same case components? It seems the shock absorber used in the SM is the same as the MB and they both seem to use 2836 ebauches.

Some of the internal components are the same - in that they both seem to have the polymer anti-shock protection and anti-magnetic 'cage'. But the bezel, barrel and caseback are all very different.

Yeah I guess I was most curious about the actual case/barrel itself and the lug components. But considering the SM has a automatic HEV, they must be different.
