I have just seen this Hublot Big Bang Zebra launch teaser photo and felt the need to resurrect the Curmudgeon Corner thread.

I am not even going to start with that. If I do I could ruin my whole morning with angry rants.

Default ugly

if we are talking design and great looks(the lack of)-----------the plain dreadful later Universal Geneve tricompax comes to mind-the dreadful "open cast"Zeniths and most if not all the current Breitlings....................Its like you compare the beauty of the 60's and early 70,s auto design-Opel Manta, Reliant Scimitar,Fiat Dino etc................( and most of the scarcer sports cars from that era-TR4/TVR/Daimler Dart) and I am not sure we are moving forwards in design, rather regressing into ergonomics and computer aided efficiency at the expense of looks............my rant of the day!
