Cool New Owner ....

Hello to you all.

I've been reading this forum for a month or so now.

My intent was to absorb as much info as possible, over a year or so, decide which watch I wanted, save up and then track down a pre-owned one.

It didn't quite work like that .......

A week and half ago I went into my local dealer (it wasn't my first visit) to have another look at the MB II.

Whist there they said "we have something in our safe you might like". I assured them I wasn't looking to buy now, but if they didn't mind I wouldn't mind a look ....

Ooops. I now own, what I was lead to believe, was the last available U2 LE.

I have it on a vintage strap and absolutely love it.

It is my first "proper" watch and hope to keep it for a very long time - that's asuming I can figure out a way to cover the credit card bill

Welcome to the gang, Fatbloke.

The U2 LE was also my preference over an MBII.

But sorry to burst your bubble but I think that your AD might have been telling porkies.

I know of a U2 LE that is still unsold and available. And it's not kept hidden away in a safe.

To be honest I'm not too bothered if it wasn't the last one; I love it to pieces and Have worn it every day so far
