Default Alpine MB

Not been too active here the last few days 'cos I've been up a mountain....

Couldn't resist a few shots though :

I can vouch that the MB is a great skiing watch too!

Cheers from Serfaus,

Nick

Fell off my skis the weekend before last - smashed glasses / face and cracked helmet. But the watch is fine!

Cheers guys! It's been scorching here all week- I'm frazzled and can't believe there is still snow!

@ Noodlefish- that must have been quite a crash! Good job you had the MB on

Cheers,

Nick

Yeah. It was pretty rubbish.

According to the Ski Tracks App, I was pootling along at c45mph when I hit the freeze point, found myself in some sludgey, gritty stuff, and face-planted into the snow. All a bit painful. Got roadrash all down the left side of my face. Hey ho. Must have been a good'un, as the helmet cracked...

At least you were wearing a bone dome! I feel sorry for the chaps who did this:

...came across it whilst trekking yesterday! Must be old as there is nothing left inside- nice feature though

Cheers,

Nick

Default MB 1.5 is my ski-watch too.

Not that I get to do enough skiing - a week or maybe a bit more each winter here.
45mph face-plant? Not bad.
I was skiing last winter down under with a mate, he had the Ski Tracks app. We cracked 85kmh (52 mph) which was plenty fast enough. Friend of ours came unstuck at 103kmh, without helmet - luckily he just got a concussion and didn't hit anything solid. He now wears his helmet, after an edict from the wife!!
Here's mine
