How will they incorporate the oak bits?

This is pure speculation of course, but it seems like the crown might be a good spot to do an small round insert of oak, where we presently see the enamel and brand logo/propeller. We'll see. In any event, this is the best LE so far. Firmly out of my league, price-wise, but still a great piece to lust after. Well done!

My gut tells me that no wood will be in the watch itself, but in a display case for the watch! Probably just a small piece inlaid in the case! Very cool and very expensive! Cheers Jim

This looks so nice! It reminds me a bit of the cuervo y sobrinos watches with that style pusher. Definitely the perfect mix of modern and vintage. I am loving the retrograde too

It's a very bold step from Bremont to do something so far removed from their safe zone but I reckon it's really paid off!

I'm not even convinved that that's the finished movement - I think it might look even better...

I've been wriritng a piece on the Victory ahead of the launch in six weeks time. As usual, the boys are being tight-lipped about details, but it sounds as though the movement that they have chosen is the La Joux-Perret caliber 8310 - modified as the Bremont BE-83AR. This was seen last year in a Chronoswiss model that was pretty well-received by the watch press.

I must say that I am incredibly excited about this one - it's an unusual movement, in a classic Bremont-styled case but with a few nautical flourishes. I know it's a big departure to move from the (mainly) aviation-focused models to the Victory, but I think it's remarkable that they have managed to secure actual copper and wood from such an historic ship... and the reverse glass etching of Nelson's seal, on the inside of the sapphire caseback really does look to be a work of art.
