I understand that the movements on the MB range are housed in anti-magnetic cages and can therefore withstand magnetic fields. The question I have (out of interest).. is how high a magnetic field can the Bremont MBs withstand?
I note that the DIN standard, to be able to call a watch 'anti-magnetic', is 4800A/m, so the Bremont MBs must be able to withstand at least this amount of magnetism. However there are other manufacturers who have produced watches that are still accurate in much stronger magnetic fields (80,000 A/m for the Rolex Millgauss and I think 80,000 A/m for IWC Ingenieur). So does anyone know what the Bremonts have been tested to? Thanks gents. Simon |

I would send Bremont an e-mail asking. I'm not sure I've ever seen this topic addressed here but I've only been on for a few months.

When I asked last year, no formal testing had been done to determine the limit of the protection.
