Think mine's insured for £10k, which is what I understand the last one sold for.

Mind you, bearing in mind the number of people hunting for one, that might be a bit light - £10k certainly wouldn't be enough to tempt me to sell.

Regards

Jon'.

FYI but the last sale of an EP120 that I've managed to track down is £6.4k (from Australia). That was a couple of months ago.

Like most urban myths, the '£10k EP120' would appear to be just that - a myth!

and that would mean that the only sales information available on the EP120 is on the internet..?

I myself have been involved in the resale of one for £9K but its a mute point as hardly anyone who owns one will part with it but I imagine will leave it in the family for their offspring.....

Exactly!

If you can find any for the original rrp, just let me know and I'll take two. Dream on...

By the way, the £10k EP is not an urban myth either, that was a genuine "non-internet" sale. If you want one - which you do judging by your WTB ad' - that's the sort of figure you'll have to pay.

Regards

Jon'.

Jon,

I also used to be under the impression that £10k was the going rate for an EP120. It was AM94 who corrected me on this point. There is obviously a difference between what people think that they are worth and what people are willing to pay.

The £6.4k price is a fact. (You can ask Claus, the seller, yourself). The £10k price is a myth. ("I heard this, I heard that, my mate told me etc etc"). If you really want a laugh, you should hear what a certain Bremont AD told me that they were now worth. Pure Jackanory!
