Personal question about Hamiltons

Hi Alistair,

A question I would llike to ask this without exposure on the forum. A friend of us (my wife and myself) lost her father a few years ago. She recently told us that he had a collection of Hamilton watches. She's thinking of selling the collection 'as is' or all items separately. But she has no idea of the value etc. I can not see the collection myself: the collection appears to be located in California. My question: do you know somebody (US bases would be great) who can help her appraising the collection.

I've just joined this site. I'm about to invest in a Bremont ALT1-P in black dial colour. I plan to change the black strap and found your gorgeous watch photos on this site where you have replaced the stock strap with a burgundy crockodile version. Do you mind me asking where you bought/sourced that strap from?

Hi Al,

do you know which Pilots jackets are good and what I would need to spend to get some quality?

Aero leather sheepskin is a good 500 pounds, but there are other starting at 200. Any recommendations?
